Rooted in wellness. Rising in leadership.
Meet Carolyn. (she/her)
Carolyn Charest, MC, MBA, R.Psych is the heart and founder of Wellflow, where she blends over a decade of clinical experience with strong business acumen to uplift leaders and professionals through both executive coaching and psychological insight. As a licensed Registered Psychologist in British Columbia (#2630) and Alberta (#3782), she is deeply committed to working with individuals, families, and organizations navigating complexity, change, and growth, with a particular passion for supporting professionals in the healthcare and design industries.
In addition to her role at Wellflow, Carolyn serves as Chief Operating Officer for an international urban design company, leading strategic operations and nurturing leadership development in a multidisciplinary environment. This dual experience as a coach and executive gives her a grounded perspective on the real-time challenges leaders face in today’s ever-evolving business landscape.
With a Master of Counselling (MC) from the University of Lethbridge and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Calgary, Carolyn adeptly bridges the realms of psychology and organizational leadership. Her career began in 2010 as a Registered Clinical Counsellor, and she has since earned credentials as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF), an Advanced Certified Personal and Executive Coach in California, and a Senior Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP). These designations reflect her rich expertise in human development and business strategy.
Carolyn’s counselling and coaching approaches are rooted in evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. She skillfully integrates these approaches to foster emotional intelligence, enhance decision-making, improve team dynamics, and promote sustainable performance.
Dedicated to guiding clients through leadership transitions, building resilience, and enhancing executive presence, Carolyn creates spaces that prioritize psychological safety in high-performance environments. Her work is anchored in clarity, alignment, and purposeful growth.
Outside the office, Carolyn cherishes exploring the North Shore trails with her family, friends, and golden retriever. She believes in the power of movement, connection, and meaningful conversations—whether on a forest path or around a boardroom table—to spark insight and inspire growth.
