Meet Carolyn. (she/her)

Carolyn Charest, MC, MBA, R.Psych is the founder of Wellflow & Co., where she combines over a decade of clinical experience with business acumen to support leaders and professionals through executive coaching and psychological insight. Licensed as a Registered Psychologist in both British Columbia (#2630) and Alberta (#3782), Carolyn works with individuals and organizations navigating complexity, change, and growth—with a particular focus on professionals in healthcare, engineering, and design.

In addition to her work with Wellflow & Co., Carolyn serves as Chief Operating Officer for an international urban design company, where she leads strategic operations and supports leadership development across a multidisciplinary organization. Her dual experience as a coach and executive gives her a grounded understanding of the real-time challenges leaders face in today’s evolving business landscape.

Carolyn’s interdisciplinary background includes a Master of Counselling (MC) from the University of Lethbridge, Athabasca, and Calgary, and an Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Calgary, equipping her to bridge the worlds of psychology and organizational leadership. She began her professional journey in 2010 as a Registered Clinical Counsellor and has since earned credentials as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF), an Advanced Certified Personal and Executive Coach through the College of Executive Coaching in California, and a Senior Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP)—designations that reflect her deep expertise in both human development and business strategy.

Her coaching style is rooted in evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy—approaches she integrates to support emotional intelligence, decision-making, team dynamics, and sustainable performance.

Carolyn supports clients in navigating leadership transitions, building resilience, enhancing executive presence, and fostering psychological safety in high-performance environments. Her work is centered on clarity, alignment, and purposeful growth.

Outside the office, you’ll often find her exploring the North Shore trails with her family, friends, and golden retriever. She values movement, connection, and the kinds of conversations that spark insight—whether on a forest path or across a boardroom table.
